Krone Duo

This project arises from the pleasure and the need to play music of excellence based on new sounds and challenging the composers of today.
This is the motto for the proposal of Krone, a group that brings together two top young musicians from the Portuguese classical music scene, where creativity and virtuosity intersect in a fresh and intense sound.
In this context, Krone presents a program entirely dedicated to current Portuguese music, crossing various musical aesthetics such as traditional, popular or contemporary.
The Duo Krone, composed by Miguel Costa and Fernando Brites, had its debut at the National Museum of Ancient Art, in an open concert broadcast live by Antena 2 in partnership with the MPMP (Heritage Movement for Portuguese Music). Since then, it has been in several rooms from north to south of Portugal, and it already has several premieres of works by prestigious Portuguese composers.
